Should You Have a Sweetheart Table?
Colin Cowie weighed in and brought a different perspective. He says no you should not have a sweetheart table because you’ll have your whole lives to be together just you two. So why not indulge in the traditional bridal party table so that way you can have fun with your friends and family.

I really love his way of thinking because I always thought, especially in this day and age that it was old fashioned to have the huge long table with your bridal party with you etc. Many brides are untraditional these days and though I see both sweetheart and bridal party, I definitely would say I thought the movement was more towards sweetheart table. Of course it all depends. Aesthetically I really like the way the sweetheart table looks by itself without the extra long table.

It’s definitely a great time and the perfect time to laugh and make new memories and you can’t do that if you and your husband are isolated on display. When that time for me comes I may have to reconsider but it could be a tough one.
